I’ve just bought this week a brand new THV30DCE after I saw a youtube video talking about “Smart guitars”.
I’m really happy to have made this purchase !
The acoustic sound (without effects) is awesome and, the electronic effects are rendered with impressive quality.
My favorite effect by now is the Looper which allows to play like if I was in a band , without carrying any extra pedals, amp, or extra effects.
New features and fixes are regulary provided with new guitar firmwares (easy to install) , and I hope that new spectacular effects will be soon released

So there I was, clicking through YouTube when I saw Justin Johnson demoing the HyVibe guitar. I was totally blown away by it’s capabilities. What finally sold me was the loop function. I already have five guitars, but I had to have this one, too. Ordered it online, and it came in about a week, maybe less. I gotta say, this thing surpassed all my expectations. It has a better action than my Martin D1, the fit and finish is beautiful and flawless, the sound is sublime, and the effects just push it over the top.
How could I not mention the price? I went for their top of the line model at $1,500. This price included shipping (from France) taxes, and a totally legit hard shell case. More than reasonable.
I am not a tech dude, at all. I emailed the company and the COO, Matt, got right back to me via email. We set up a time to chat over the phone and he very patiently and skillfully guided me through the process. Thanks again, Matt.
We live in a world saturated in bullshit and all kinds of heinous fuckery. Dealing with this company was a very refreshing change from all of that. They are the real deal. Cannot recommend this guitar enough.

I purchased THV30DCE and got it just before Christmas. To start with, this is a beautiful guitar. She has a wonderful action, and great acoustic sound.
When turned on, the HyVibe system really makes her come alive! I’ve been adding reverb for my live playing and she sounds so rich!
I haven’t explored all the features or effects yet, but I am sure liking what I have tried this far.

What a great guitar really well made and the built in effects / Looper make it a very versatile guitar
To be honest I was sceptical and did think it was a bit of a gimmick but wow this is a serious piece of kit and the ability just to pick it up without having to connect to amp or pedals is great
The App is really intuitive love how you can assign the slider on the guitar to a parameter drag and change the order of the effects in the chain etc
I actually plug it into a modelling amp yeah it sort of defeats the purpose of the intended use but it sounds fantastic
It’s a nice guitar well made and balanced! Nice Mid’s Nice High’s and not to heavy on the lows without doubt competes with the well known high end brands for sure
My only gripe would be I feel a little anxious when I put it on charge and rest it on my guitar stand just got a feeling the charger plug will get snapped off at some point shame it wasn’t in a more convenient location but I understand it makes sense to combine it all in one unit

Not as pictured but still a nice guitar.
Ordered the top of the line as they had but if I had it to do over again I would have ordered the THV20DCE. I like the look of the 30 pictured on the website better than the 20 so I ordered it but when it came in it looked nothing like the picture. In fact it looks closer to the 20 picture with a solid back so that is one star off. The electronics are top notch other than one problem and that is the bluetooth contivity. EVERY time you start up the guitar you have to re pair it with the app to edit any settings and if you want to play backup track you have to disconnect it in the app and reconnect it in the system bluetooth menu. All that said I do like this guitar and will play it more than most of my others but if I had it to do over again I would have ordered the 20 as it looks IDENTICAL to the pictureed THV20DCE

In June I ordered the THV30DCE, the process was smooth at every step, with one exception, the delivery driver delivered the guitar to my neighbor two doors down. I spent a few hours haired out knowing the shipper posted “Delivered”, and it wasn’t on my doorstep. Fortunately the neighbor is honest and came over to let me know ..
I was so stoked with the Hyvibe I ordered the THV20DCE for my son’s birthday, would have purchased the cut away model for him but it was not available last June, but he was stoked with it.
Recently I purchased the do it yourself kit and converted a Martin D-1 R to a Hyvibe system. It actually sounds better than the THV30DCE, as it is a very well made guitar to start and the Hyvibe system lights it up !
That makes three purchases from Hyvibe that all went perfectly and all three guitars are freakin awesome, I’m playing alot more lately.

LOVE it! Didn’t know I would love it so much. Playing it without any effects, as a regular guitar, is gorgeous. Sweet and loud. But turn on the effects and stand back. Waiting for the pedal so I can play around with the looper more easily (and hoping for some multi-track support on the looper in the future)

Wow what a wonderful guitar! Saw Justine Johnson play it and it sounded amazing. Ordered it here soon after. It sounds fantastic in real life, even better with the HyVibe on, easy to play with low action, looks sharp, very nice! Even the hard case is nice. Stays in tune for months once strings break in.

I won’t review the electronics. Plenty of reviews about that. Suffice it to say the electronics work as advertised. The dive stars are for the guitar itself. Outstanding guitar. The craftsmanship is excellent. The guitar plays and sounds better than any acoustic I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot. Admittedly, never paid more than $800 before, but I am very happy to have paid $1250 for this one. I had a friend bring his Taylor over that he paid about the same amount for. He loves his Taylor. After playing both, we agreed. The Taylor is a little louder and brighter, but not much. Could be simply the strings. Both of us agreed that mine was slightly easier to play. All in all, both guitars are excellent in terms of sound and playability. Both are beautiful, although my THV30DCE I feel has the edge. At the end of the session, my friend said he loves his Taylor, but if he known about the THV30DCE, he would have bought one of those instead. I agree that for the same money, I prefer mine over the Taylor. Couldn’t be happier. I waited till I had played it for awhile before writing the review. And, the customer service has been five star as well. If you are like me and care more about quality than anything else I think you would be very satisified with purchasing one of these.
