I have had a LAG Model 30 w/ HyVibe since Jan 2021. It is the most awesome of Guitars. Many Bar players that have picked her up think she is a Martin at first. The feel of that Mahogany neck. The resonance of the Figured Bocote and Bearclaw Spruce. The smooth action of the strings over that Graphite nut. People start playing her; then they don’t want to pick up their Taylor, they want to keep playing mine.
Yes, I am an old Violinist that was quite used to Ebony and Ivory. Quality is not always in the price but in the Pride.
People on this side of the pond are shocked when they find out that my LAG is not a $4,000 Guitar but plays as one.

Outstanding feel, comfort, sound and effects! I began by buying a THV10DCE, then traded it in for a THV30DCE until the THV30ACE became available in the US, when I instantly bought one. I’ve always preferred the slimmer waist of an Auditorium shape and my THV30ACE fits the bill perfectly. My other 19 guitars are now mostly gathering dust since I can’t put my THV30ACE down!

I have this guitar (the TNHV30ACE) and its nylon string counterpart (the TNHV15ACE). Electronics aside, it is a very nice guitar, especially for the money. I’ve been spoiled with a couple of high end Taylor auditorium bodied guitars that cost several times this, but they are not several times nicer. I had never played Lag guitars previously, and I was very pleased when this guitar arrived. This guitar is well built, with an attractive glossy look, a very playable neck, and a nice sound. Coupled with the HyVibe system, however, it becomes an acoustic guitar in a league of its own. The HyVibe technology hits the sweet spot of functionality and simplicity. It has all the core functions I want from a multi-effects unit, looper, and bluetooth-enabled amp, but doesn’t pile on additional features or big bright screens that I don’t need. The system is able to receive updates, and the HyVibe Team seems very committed to continue to refine the feature set, meaning you can expect continued improvement of the already excellent foundation you get on day one. And the customer support (Matt specifically) is absolutely stellar. All in all, the entire Lag HyVibe experience is very modern and thoughtfully done, and not something I think many people would regret buying into at the price they’re asking. PS – I highly recommend getting the AIRTURN BT500S-2 foot pedal to go along with the guitar, as it makes the guitar’s best feature (the looper) even better.

Great guitar. Nice shopping experience. I wish we could record a loop and be able to record solo on rhythm.

I am recently retired. I have played guitar over 40 years and have a number of high end acoustic, acoustic electric, and electric guitars. I also have an acoustic amp as well as an electric guitar amp. When I recently bought an Amicus from Emerald guitars, I discovered the hyvibe system as Emerald is now giving the option to install the hyvibe in one of their guitars when ordering, but not in the Amicus as it’s too small.
So I researched Lag guitars, but was reluctant because not all solid wood. I thought about buying an all solid wood guitar and installing the hyvibe system in it, but decided instead to try a Lag with the hyvibe based on the good reviews and the 30 day return policy.
I placed the order on a Friday morning. I live near Seattle. I am mediately received an email from the CEO, Matt, Wolski, confirming receipt of the order, and stating the guitar would ship the following Monday as it was past closing Friday night in France. I responded with disappointment that I would have to wait several days for the guitar to ship. he responded back saying I would still get the guitar by the middle of the week. However, their shipping company wasn’t good on the tracking, and when I hadn’t received it by Thursday, and I emailed Matt and he said he would look into it. But the good he responded back saying I would still get the guitar by the middle of the week. However, there shipping company wasn’t good on the tracking, and when I hadn’t received it by Thursday, and I emailed Matt and he said he would look into it. But the guitar came the next morning , so within a week of me placing the order. When I first got the guitar, I could not get the looper to work. I emailed my frustration about this to Matt. I then watched their tutorial video on using the looper and figured it out, and let Matt know. However, I still could not get the Foot switch to work for controlling the looper. There are instructions for this on the HyVibe website, but I could not, or did not find them that weekend. Matt offered to call me directly to go over the features of the guitar and to explain how the foot switch worked , he called me first thing Monday morning for me by FaceTime. He showed me how to set up and work with the foot controller. And so doing, he noticed a defect in the installed HyVibe system and offered to send me a new one, if I was willing to install it or otherwise take steps to replace it. I told him I would try installing it. He sent it to me and I received it within a day or two with installation instructions. After I installed this, he FaceTimed me again and went through it to ensure that it was working properly. This call was made by him while he was at a park with his children on the weekend. I was astounded by his level of customer service.
He also allowed me to participate in beta, testing the over dubbing of the looper, which is now a standard feature, and is awesome.
As for the guitar itself, it is beautiful. It plays very nicely. I ordered the auditorium version because my wife recently started playing the guitar as well, and she prefers playing smaller guitars than the dreadnought and jumbos that I have, and I want her to be able to play the Lag as well. The Lag sounds great acoustic only. As good as my hd28 or d18? Not quite, but the effects and the looper make playing this thing just fun, fun, fun. I play it more than any of my other guitars, and for the first time in years, I’m actually getting better at guitar.
The hyvibe system is unbelievably cool. So much so that I am seriously considering placing it in my other guitars that already have nice electric pickups already installed. The over dubbing on the looper and the foot controller makes using this thing a dream. Also, I discovered that my Spark controller worked just the same as the AirTurn controller, so I returned it.
Every guitar player should try this. It’s the opposite of a gimmick. It will truly amplify your guitar playing and your fun in doing so, without hooking up to an amp. But I have hooked this up to my AER Domino acoustic amp and it play all the effects and loops thru the AER. It’s just awesome.
