I have played guitar for almost 40 years, my friend who introduced this guitar to me knows I already have too many guitars now. I was not really in the buying mood. The acoustic sound alone is world class. This guitar is addictive and its built in speaker is far more creative than even my tonewwod amp that requires 3 aa batteries every 2 hours. This built in speaker plays for about 10 hours before it simply has to be re-charged! The built in bluetooth speaker takes your playing to a whole new level! My wife gave me two thumbs up when she heard the built in bluetooth speaker play her favorite worship songs as I played along with it! Everything speaks forth incredible craftsmanship and well thought out technology on this entry level model. I appreciate there notifications on the cool up dates to their own going improvements for the guitar and their app.

I wanted to buy a good acoustic guitar for 9 years and finally got spare time during lockdown to look around and stumble upon the Lag Hyvibe. I knew LAG Guitars because my first guitar was a LAG. I knew I could trust the woodwork, never disappointed.
I have to say, this is purely amazing. The way the technology is built in is so intuitive I almost felt every acoustic guitar should have it and wondered why it came out so late in history. Possibilities are nearly endless, I’ve had hours… days of fun and many more to come. The latest update brought new features and it’s like playing and trying out stuff never gets old. There also is a community on forums with tips and tricks and it’s growing.

I managed to buy my Lag 10 HyVibe early this year, just before the Covid-19 pandemic locked us all down. What a lifesaver! And what a great innovation in guitars. First off, it’s a really nice guitar – great tone, good action, but the killer part is the HyVibe electronics. That looper – what a brilliant idea! Now you can quicky create your own backing track which is so much better to practise with than professional backing tracks, and no extra boxes, cables, power supplies. The effects are really cool (OK, some of them are a bit gimmicky) but once you get the hang of it you can modify them to suit your style. The recent upgrade has vastly extended the functionality of the system too, with more on the way. Can’t wait . . .

This Guitar is just amazing! Firstible, the lag guitars are very great to play and have a a rich and powerful sound. And the job Hyvibde made on it is just perfect! I can absolutely recommend getting this guitar, it blows my mind! :O The sound quality is unbelievable, playing back a loop is like actually jamming with two guitars. The effects sound great, and the possibilities in the app are great too. Everything just feels round, easy to use and thought through. The battery level stayed nearly the same after 2-3 hours of playing, and the sound quality and loudness when used as a bluetooth speaker are great too!
I had a connection problem with the app though, which I was quite sad, when unpacking it on christmas and not getting the full experience 🙁 But I sent a mail to hyvibe, and they replied within TWO MINUTES!!!!! On Christmas (25th)!!! O.o How ridiculous is that? I was so happy, that I could use my guitar right away with the app. The one I bought simply had an old firmware which was easy to update within a few minutes. But even before I got the app running , this guitar was already worth it’s money.
So thanks a lot to the hyvibe support team, developers and Of course also to lag guitars, this fusion seems much more perfect, than I could have imagined!

This guitar is almost perfect piece of art. I would like to see that we can record 2 or more loops and play at the same time or turn off each loop while playing. That would be great for live “one man band” performer. And if firmware can add “transpose” effect like organ instrument and that is exceptional. Just some idea for improving.

This is a great guitar, I’m so glad I bought it. I would have written the review sooner but I’ve been busy playing the guitar, it is hard to put it down.
Not only is it a great sounding (and beautiful) acoustic guitar, the transducers under the bridge make the effects sound natural, like they are part of the sound made by just playing the guitar. There is some impressive engineering and craftsmanship that brought this to reality.
The electronics and user interface are also excellent.
There are a bunch of effects, and you can easily adjust the volume and amount of the effect with the knob and the slider. Simple and effective.
The metronome is very useful to have right there and I use it daily.
The looper effect is a great tool/toy. Creating new loops and jamming along with them has been a lot of fun and has been improving my timing.
The app is easy to use and helps you dial in your sound, calibrate the guitar, update the guitar’s firmware if needed, and use the guitar as a bluetooth speaker.

After having my Martin guitar of 8 years crack due to some extreme dry and cold weather here, I decided to do some research online and through YouTube reviews on a replacement why my acoustic was being rehydrated and repaired.

This is the best product I have ever purchased. It shipped from France to Seattle in four days! The company was in contact with me everyday from the day I purchased it to the day it arrived. As far as customer service goes, it doesn’t get better than this.
The guitar is even better looking in real life. The playability is great right out of the box. The action in the lower frets was low just how I like it, but the action gradually got higher in the upper frets. It’s very playable as is, but I might just make some minor truss rod adjustments to bring the action a bit lower for the upper frets.
I got the base model with the satin red cedar top, it’s beautiful and feels very well made.
The HyVibe technology is incredible! I loved playing guitar before buying the HyVibe, but now I can’t put it down and it’s the only thing I want to do all day everyday. For me, this is the greatest invention since the smart phone.
With the looper, I can play the guitar part and the bass part of my favorite songs using the built-in octave effect. I can also change the effect from octave to delay to cut in some lead solos while the loop plays in the back. It sounds incredible unplugged and even better plugged in. There is so much fun and experimenting to be had with this guitar.
I will never purchase another acoustic without the HyVibe system in it. I’m also a fan of Lag guitars now and will probably buy them exclusively from now on. The build quality, playability, sound, customer service, price point, and overall design can’t be beat.
My old acoustic rarely got played because I quickly ditched it for my electric…but now it’s my electric that has been collecting dust because I can’t put the HyVibe down.
I also am very grateful that the company is constantly working to improve the software to add more effects and optimize the system. It is clear to me that this is a great company that wants to hear and respond to their customers feedback, which is almost nonexistent nowadays.

My THV10DCE is quite simply a magical device that affords me infinite creative avenues to travel down. Next to my partner and my daughter it’s my new best friend. The quality of the craftsmanship is top notch. The technology is revolutionary. Currently all I want to do is play and create on this divine instrument. Little else matters. Finally there’s proof that magic or god is real :). When Photoshop came out 30 years ago I said wow! With the the HyVibe, I’m saying wow, wow, wow! I ordered without playing first, which is scary to me, but Lag has excellent customer service and they assured me that my purchase was risk-free. I also had concerns over the radius and width of the neck, that perhaps I wouldn’t like the feel, but I jumped anyways because of all of the great reviews. Man, am I glad I did.
I pulled the guitar out of the box and was actually a lttle stunned by how smooth the finish. I have never had a guitar without clearcoat. It just immediately felt great in my hands. The smile began. The neck radius and width were complete non-factors as the guitar felt almost identical to the one it was replacing. In fact, I believe it’s a little smoother and a little faster.
I charged her up (which took about an hour) and sat down and started playing. The smile grew. I could only stop playing her long enough to connect her to my phone. She sounds so good. She had apparently updated herself while I played her for the first time, because the next time I turned her on, the update ran and then all of a sudden I could use effects with the looper. Smiling like an idiot in a room full of bouncy balls.
Every time I play her, I feel like I’m giving a concert. She sounds THAT good. If you are on the fence about purchasing this guitar, you will definitely not be disappointed when you pull the trigger. This guitar earns a full 5 star review from me. I’ve been playing for nearly 40 years and I have played hundreds of guitars and owned dozens of them and I absolutely love this guitar. It cannot be oversold.

Love this guitar can’t stop playing it Sound’s great on its own i have other very expensive guitars and found this guitar sound as good or better.,plus with the effects and looper I have not played my others in a while . Its great not to have to set up an equipment I can just play no PA or pedals needed but if i did this guitar comes with input jack an bluetooth with amazing good quality effects they sound great so easy to use ! I’m a singer songwriter who has been playing the guitar for a very very long time, I have a great selection of guitars including 8 string Baritone and 12 String models. I record my songs using basic DAW software and have, up until now, had to gig using a Bluetooth enabled mixer, and amplifier and a complete set of cables to play my backing tracks along with the guitar. With the LAG Hyvibe guitar I can now play my songs with guitar parts and harmony vocals through the guitar, no cables, no tricky setup, no lugging kit around and best of all, no need for mains voltage where I play. For those who play venues regularly the joy of not needing a PAT test certificate to gig, let alone all the set up time is a massive bonus. There are little things that I would love to see added in the future, like a string section option playing behind the guitar (I use an Electro Harmonix MEL9 for this currently – and that does require mains.) but that said I absolutely love playing with my own multitrack recordings coming through the guitar, mixing with a little more treble and volume in the vocals just to get the best “live” mix. This guitar is a true game changer, if you’re a solo performer looking for a way to wow an audience with a completely self contained mixer and effects instrument then look no further. I’ve not used all the functions but combine the speaker with the reverb and carry less equipment to your next gig. I am so pleased I made the purchase. I’m going to struggle to justify another guitar after the huge leap forward this instrument has made. Congratulations to LAG and Hyvibe, at last I can play live what I always thought would only ever be listened to on the radio or Spotify!

I have had many guitars over the years and currently have a Gibson SJ300 and also a Godin steel string Multiac grand concert.
When I saw and heard the Hyvibe system I was intrigued.
I wanted a steel string version but was unsure which one to go for, the 10, 20 or 30.
Since it was the Hyvibe system that was my priority I figured that it didn’t really matter which version of guitar I chose as the system would have the same effect in each guitar.
If I had intended to travel extensively with the guitar I would have probably gone for the 20 purely for the hard case.
I opted for the 10 which came in a beautiful sturdy leather case.
I wanted to try the guitar out for a while before committing to a review and have now had mine for about 2 months.
I would say that this guitar is hands down, the best guitar that I have ever handled and owned.
It is lighter than my Gibson but punches out such beautiful tone that goes beyond all my other guitars.
As a stand-alone guitar without the Hyvibe, it is well worth the money.
The quality and build of the guitar are truly awesome.
But then turn on the Hyvibe and that’s where the fun begins!
The looper is amazing as is the bank of sounds without the need of plugging in various pedals.
I also like the fact that I can change the bank of sounds with the app on my phone.
If you are a serious guitar player this is a must have and you will not be disappointed.

I am 54, I am not a musician, I’ve only been playing/practicing guitar for around 3 years, I’m an aerodynamicist working in Saudi Arabia, however I own many guitars, Les Pauls, Strats and various acoustics. I just received the V10 yesterday after watching almost every review video on YouTube! Matt at HyVibe forgot to mention the one critical issue of the guitar to me, yes it has an issue, that is, it cannot be put down unless nature calls or you need to eat to stay alive! Warning, this guitar is also going to impact your sleeping routine, trust me!

Not only the most advanced acoustic guitar on the market, but the best customer support team I’ve dealt with in years. Though I bought this guitar used from the original owner, the guys at LAG treated me like family when I had a problem with it not charging. They shipped a replacement battery free of charge and when that failed to remedy the situation, Matt called personally, outside of his work hours to talk me through diagnosis to discover the real problem was a failed firmware update the last time I had used it. Within minutes he had emailed me the required file and had it working like new.
