Installation instructions :
– Step 1: Turn on the guitar, connect the USB cable to the guitar and to your computer. In the HyVibe System interface, enter the USB menu and select ON. The HyVibe external drive will appear on the computer.
– Step 2: Drag and drop the .hef file into the disk (you must unzip the downloaded package to access the .hef file).
– Step 3: Eject the disk properly on the computer, exit the USB menu on the guitar and restart the device. The update will be installed automatically when the HyVibe System is restarted.
– Step 4: Format the flash. To format the flash, turn the guitar off, then hold the center button and tap the power button. The guitar will start in a boot loader menu. Look for the ‘Format’ screen, enter that and move the cursor to YES. Then restart the guitar.
This will erase your recorded loops, so if you want to save them first, you can plug the guitar into a computer and copy them from the Loops folder.
– Step 5: Log your issues and comments using this form.
The major fix is an upgrade in the looper and Bluetooth speaker sound. Please go through all the features though and let us know about any functionality issues. Looper (with and without the bluetooth pedal), HyVibe app, and plugged into an amplifier, etc. We are excited to hear your comments. Before you do the upgrade, take a listen to the Bluetooth audio and looper quality so you can compare it to the upgrade. We might even ask for a testimonial video discussing the upgrade in sound quality (we would be grateful for this).
